Robert Harris Scholarship

1978 Vanderbilt Baseball Media Guide Cover Robert Harris, BA'79, was a standout pitcher for the Commodores, as well as a generous and beloved member of the Vanderbilt community. He passed on his passionate support for Vanderbilt Baseball to his sons, Brian, BA'09, M.Ed.'12, and Andrew, BA'12, M.Ed.'14, who also played at Hawkins Field.

Robert attended Vanderbilt thanks to an athletic scholarship and throughout his life sought ways to give back to the place that gave his family so much. Robert played a large role in fundraising and supporting the baseball program through his leadership in the Champions' Circle, which continues to enhance the facilities and opportunities for future VandyBoys.

An inaugural charitable contribution for this scholarship was given by Robert's colleagues from The Crichton Group in Nashville. You can make a gift to extend the impact of the Robert Harris Scholarship at vu.edu/robertharrisscholarship.
