NCC Excellence Fund for Swimming
By making a gift to the NCC Excellence Fund for Swimming, you help our student-athletes succeed in the classroom and in competition. Your support provides funds for projects outside of our operating budget, and gives our program an edge in recruiting and training. With you on our team this year, we can continue to provide the best for our student-athletes. Make a gift today!
Last year, supporters of the NCC Excellence Fund for Swimming helped fund a January team training trip to Puerto Rico to prepare for the upcoming season. We also made improvements to our facility, including new blocks. Because of the generosity of the Vanderbilt Swimming community, we have the support we need to learn, lead and win championships.

Our student-athletes spend countless hours studying, practicing and competing in order to excel, both academically and athletically. Vanderbilt Swimming earned a 3.279 cumulative GPA last academic year and 13 members were named to the SEC Winter Academic Honor Roll. Three swimmers—Kathryn Coughlin, Kara Lucenti and Kayla Moran—earned College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Academic All-American honorable mentions. We capped the 2015‒16 home season with a sweep of Marshall and North Florida, and broke four school records at the SEC Championships.
Coach Jeremy Organ expects great things this year. Our student-athletes are working toward success—now they just need you! Make a gift today.
If I make a gift to the NCC Excellence Fund for Swimming, will I be recognized as a National Commodore Club member? Yes. All donors to any area of Vanderbilt Athletics are recognized as NCC members.
Will my gift to the NCC Excellence Fund for Swimming apply toward my National Commodore Club benefits? No. You will receive NCC priority points, but you must make a separate gift to the NCC annual fund for priority seating and parking benefits.
Will my gift to the NCC Excellence Fund for Swimming be a restricted or unrestricted gift? A gift made directly to a sport’s program is restricted. By giving directly to the NCC Excellence Fund for Swimming, you provide funds for projects outside of their operating budget.
