Invest in Vanderbilt student-athletes
Your investment in Vanderbilt Men’s Golf provides funds for programs, technology and other opportunities for our student-athletes. Because of generous supporters last year, the team was able to travel to Florida for a retreat, and they built a new trophy case in the Golf House. They also enjoyed using their new Trackman technology—a program used to track ball speed, angle, club path and more.
Success is possible because of you
The Men’s Golf program had an exceptional year—both on the course and in the classroom. Most notably, the team claimed their first-ever SEC Championship, and they finished the regular season ranked No. 1 in all three major polls. The ’Dores also earned a 4th consecutive trip to the NCAA Championship, advancing to the Final Four and capturing the NCAA Championship stroke play title by 12 shots. Patrick Martin was named to the GCAA All-America First Team, Matthias Schwab was named to the Second Team, Theo Humphrey to the Third Team and John Augenstein was an Honorable Mention All-American and the SEC Freshman of the Year. Schwab and Humphrey capped off their impressive years by being named All-American Scholars, and the team collectively recorded a 3.372 GPA. Coach Scott Limbaugh was named GCAA National Coach of the Year and SEC Coach of the Year.
With you on the team this year, they could achieve even more!
Vandy Golf Day
The NCC Excellence Fund is a separate giving option from Vandy Golf Day. Gifts to the NCC Excellence Fund for Men's Golf help the team purchase additional training equipment, increase the travel budget and acquire other items needed to compete as champions. Vandy Golf Day information will be sent separately in the spring, and an additional gift is required to play in this annual golf tournament. For more Vandy Golf Day information, please call the NCC office at (615) 322-4114.
