Invest in Vanderbilt student-athletes

When you give to the NCC Excellence Fund for Men’s Golf, you provide funds for programs, technology and other opportunities for our student-athletes. Thanks to generous Men’s Golf Excellence Fund members, the team was able to travel to Birmingham for a team practice retreat. They also were able to put a new putting green and hitting turf in their indoor facility, build a new trophy case, and subsidize team travel. This year, the team hopes to be able to upgrade their locker room.

Success is possible because of you

The Men’s Golf program had an exceptional year—both on the course and in the classroom. Most notably, the team finished in the top 5 in the NCAA, marking the team’s fourth consecutive top 10 finish. The ʼDores also received the Tolbert Cup, an honor given to the team that performs best on and off the field. Will Gordon, Theo Humphrey and Patrick Martin were named as All-American Scholars by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). Humphrey was also named SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year, SEC Player of the Year, as well as named a first-team All-American selection by the GCAA. Coach Scott Limbaugh was also named a finalist for the GCAA Division I Dave Williams Coach of the Year.

With your support, they could achieve even more!

Vandy Golf Day

The NCC Excellence Fund is a separate giving option from Vandy Golf Day. Gifts to the NCC Excellence Fund for Men's Golf help the team purchase additional training equipment, increase the travel budget and acquire other items needed to compete as champions. Vandy Golf Day information will be sent separately in the spring, and an additional gift is required to play in this annual golf tournament. For more Vandy Golf Day information, please call the NCC office at (615) 322-4114.
