NCC Excellence Fund for Lacrosse

You can make an impact

When you give to the NCC Excellence Fund for Lacrosse, you directly support the future of the program. Excellence Fund members provide resources for us to offer the best collegiate experience possible for our student-athletes. Make a gift today!

Last year, with the support of Excellence Fund members, the team was able to purchase a new video system allowing them to film on all of their fields at any given time. They were also able to invest in specialized equipment, like custom stringing for their sticks, including mesh and leathers. This year, the team especially needs your help to raise funds for our summer 2019 trip to England and Ireland to play their national teams, as well as facility enhancements.

Success is possible because of you

Vanderbilt Lacrosse saw great success on the field last year. Emily Mathewson, Julie Blaze, Margaret Fee and Kayla Peterson were all named to the All-Big East Second Team. Our student-athletes also performed admirably in the classroom. Our team was awarded the 2018 Big East Team Excellence Award, an honor given to the teams having the highest collective grade-point averages in each conference sport. Vanderbilt Women’s Lacrosse had a cumulative team GPA of 3.452. Twenty of our Lacrosse student-athletes were named to the SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll, and seven student-athletes were recognized by the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association on the 2018 Zag Sports Division I Academic Honor Roll, the most in program history.
