Invest in Vanderbilt student-athletes

When you give to the NCC Excellence Fund for Women’s Basketball, you provide funds for programs, technology and other opportunities for our student-athletes. Thanks to the support of NCC members, the team was able to take an educational trip to Costa Rica last year to prepare for the upcoming season and play against international competition. This year, we hope to make facility improvements to create a new, inclusive space that reflects our current team. Your support will also allow us to maintain and improve the technology we use to train and support our student-athletes.

Success is possible because of you

Vanderbilt Women’s Basketball made progress last year in the classroom and on the court. Five student-athletes were named to the 2017-18 Winter SEC Academic Honor Roll, and Chelsie Hall was named to the SEC’s All-Freshman Team. Mariella Fasoula also represented her home country by suiting up for the Greek Women’s National Team in the second of three qualifying rounds for the FIBA Women’s EuroBasket 2019 Final Round. The Women’s Basketball program also made a difference in the community. Their volunteer activities included fundraising for Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee, and hosting a shoe drive for global not-for-profit Soles4Souls, a social enterprise committed to fighting poverty through the collection and distribution of shoes and clothing.
