MHS 2020 Alumna, Dara Johnson, had her story featured in the Celebrating the Class of 2020 profiles.

The Montgomery, Alabama, native is well-versed in the power of buses for social change. From Rosa Parks to the Freedom Riders, buses have been a potent symbol of change in Dara Johnson’s hometown, and she’s working to become the next person to deliver transformation through transportation – in the form of a mobile dental clinic. As a pre-dental student who majored in MHS and minored in African American and diaspora studies, she is passionate about her quest to close the oral-health gap in underserved populations.
