Dr. Jonathan Metzl and Dr. JuLeigh Petty are members of the VUMC The GOL2D Project team that was awarded grant funding from the American Medical Association (AMA) as part of its new Reimagining Residency initiative.

Vanderbilt University Medical Center is one of eight award recipients that will receive funding due to The GOL2D Project’s work on structural competency and the curriculum. The project will run for 4 to 5 years and will focus on creating structural competency modules to train healthcare residents in Tennessee and Mississippi, until expanding nationally.
