MHS Professor Ken MacLeish presented his new research on post-9/11 veterans at the University of Chicago anthropology department on October 30.

The talk, based on extensive ethnographic research, described the dilemmas and opportunities confronting participants in veteran treatment courts, which allow veteran offenders to forgo jail time if they participate in an intensive, year-long therapeutic program supervised by a special non-adversarial court.
