Professor Derek Griffith appointed to the American Psychological Association’s New Working Group on Health Disparities in Boys and Men
Dr. Derek Griffith, associate professor, Vanderbilt University Center for Medicine,
Health, and Society and director, MHS Institute for Research on Men’s Health (IRMH), is appointed to the American Psychological Association’s (APA) New Working Group on Health Disparities in Boys and Men.
APA is the world’s largest association of psychologists with more than 134,000 members, and this effort to address health disparities in boys and men is the first such effort of the APA’s National Steering Committee on Health Disparities and the Public Interest Directorate. The goal of this group is to develop strategies that can better address health disparities and needs of underrepresented boys and men in the United States. Read more.
