Shimadzu TOC-LCPN and SSM-5000A

The Shimadzu total organic carbon (TOC) analyzer model TOC-LCPN with auto sampler model ASI-L measures dissolved organic and inorganic carbon in liquids by combustion catalytic oxidation/non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) detection. The system is equipped with auto-dilution to dilute sample concentrations within calibration range. Analysis is performed following EPA Method 9060A. A separate module, model SSM-5000A, combined with the NDIR detector measures total carbon and total inorganic carbon in solid samples.

The TOC is a staff-run instrument with pricing based on a per-sample charge. All sample submissions are handled via MDERFH’s iLab Core.
