Low-speed, Wet-cut Diamond Saw

Allied TechCut 4TM
The Allied TechCut 4TM Precision Low Speed Saw provides controlled sectioning of small or delicate samples. A 3 to 6” blade range provides the capacity to section samples up to 2” in thickness. Rotational blade speed is digitally controlled from 10-500rpm in 10rpm increments. Adjustable cutting weights for counterbalancing the cutting arm, an optical shut-off sensor, and a micrometer for sample indexing (0.002µm resolution, 0-25mm range) allow fine tuning of cuts and repeatability between samples. A spring-retractable dressing stick attachment also provides for dressing of the blade while sectioning. Please note: this saw is for wet cutting only.
Usage of the TechCut 4TM is charged on an hourly basis. All training and reservations for the TechCut 4TM are handled via MDERFH’s iLab Core.
