About StrengthsQuest

Several years ago, Donald Clifton, Ph.D., asked one question that sparked the birth of Strengths Psychology: “What would happen if we actually study what is right with people?” In partnership with Gallup, the Clifton StrengthsFinder assessment was created from the perspective of Positive Psychology. Strengths research was conducted over 3 decades, spanning 30+ cultures, leading to 430+ talents, which were condensed to 34 themes and 4 domains. Everyone may embody all 34 themes, but 5 rise to the top.

If you are wondering what your Top 5 Strengths are and how to utilize them in your daily life, join us for a StrengthsQuest Open Workshop or request a personalized workshop to benefit your student organization, staff, or executive team! We ask that requests are made at least 3 weeks prior to your preferred workshop date. Please contact Brooke Wilson at brooke.r.wilson@vanderbilt.edu with any questions.
