CliftonStrengths for Students – Group Workshops
What’s Your Top 5?
About CliftonStrengths for Students
Several years ago, Donald Clifton, Ph.D., asked one question that sparked the birth of Strengths Psychology: “What would happen if we actually study what is right with people?” In partnership with Gallup, the CliftonStrengths assessment was created from the perspective of Positive Psychology. Strengths research was conducted over 3 decades, spanning 30+ cultures, leading to 430+ talents, which were condensed to 34 themes and 4 domains. Everyone may embody all 34 themes, but 5 rise to the top.
Gallup studies indicate that people who have the opportunity to focus on their Strengths are 6x more likely to be engaged and 3x more likely to thrive on campus and beyond. Come learn about your Strengths and how to apply them in your daily life. Self-awareness is at the heart of good leadership and CliftonStrengths is a great way to develop this skill, while also gaining a deeper awareness of others.
If you are wondering what your Top 5 Strengths are and how to utilize them in your daily life, join us for a CliftonStrengths Open Workshop. You can also request a personalized workshop to benefit your student organization, staff, or executive board! We ask that requests are made at least 2 weeks prior to your preferred workshop date. Please contact Krystal Clark at email@example.com with any questions.
Participants will be provided a FREE CliftonStrengths code to complete the inventory!
Each session is limited to 30 students. Come as a solo leader or bring members of your student organization and/or executive board. Students must register by the deadline stated below for the remaining dates. Students must take the CliftonStrengths Assessment the day before attending the workshop. Once you RSVP for the workshop, we will send you your unique access code and instructions. RSVP on Anchor Link by clicking on your desired workshop.
All workshops, except where noted, will take place from 5:00 pm-6:30 pm in Sarratt 363.

Do you want to bring CliftonStrengths to your student organization?
Student Leadership Development would love to work with you to bring Strengths-Based Leadership and Teamwork to the positional leaders of your student organization and/or your entire membership.
Step 1: Fill out this form here on Anchor Link. Our office only provides codes if a workshop is hosted by the organization to provide Strengths education. The workshop will provide an opportunity for students to accurately understand their results and how to use Strengths effectively in their life. It’s helpful to come to the consultation with possible dates/times for a member of the Student Leadership Development Team to work with your organization. Each workshop is a minimum of 1 hour.
Step 2: Let Krystal know the number of codes you need and provide her with the financial information needed to expense the codes. Each code is $11.99. If you have members that have taken the assessment within the past year, they do not need to take it again for this experience. Confirm workshop details including time and location.
Step 3: Krystal will send you all of the CliftonStrengths codes and assessment instructions. You will be responsible for assigning codes to each of your organization members. Krystal will receive each participants Top 5 Talent Themes.
Step 4: CliftonStrengths Workshop at designated time and place with organization members.
Step 5: Use Strengths-Based Leadership and Teamwork as you strive to accomplish your goals!
