JLAMT's experts are in contact with traditional Jewish courts ("Batei Din", in Hebrew) both at the local level in Nashville and at the national level, which provide arbitration and dispute resolution services to interested parties. Batei Din can be a quick and efficient method of dispute resolution, and can afford counterparties the opportunity to resolve their matter in an environment which accounts for traditional Jewish ethics and values in its decision-making process. When counterparties agree in advance to the binding arbitration of the Bet Din, its decision has the full force of law. Batei Din are often chosen for individuals dealing with matters of marriage and personal status, but Batei Din are also capable of dealing with commercial and financial matters such as the dissolution of business partnerships and the resolution of contract disputes.
