Glacier Tax Database

Students and scholars receiving payment from Vanderbilt must request Glacier access.

Glacier is a software solution for nonresident alien (NRA) compliance and income tax treaty analysis.  It examines complex bodies of U.S. tax law and procedures, and provides up-to-date analyses for withholding tax rates, and tax and treaty exemptions.   It determines U.S. tax residency status, resident or nonresident, using an individual’s immigration status history and days of U.S. presence.  Data can be collected and forms delivered, all online.   ~ Adapted from tax.thomsonreuters.com

The International Tax Office (ITO) web link to request Glacier access is provided above. The ITO office will send you a link to the tax system by email. Follow the instructions to fill it out online and submit the required paper documents to ITO.

If you have problems or questions with the Glacier program please contact ITO, their contact information is provided above.
