Vanderbilt University is committed to the highest ethical standards and compliance with the law. Our continued success is dependent on living the values of excellence, diversity, integrity, respect and fairness, and conducting our activities responsibly and transparently.  In doing so, we build trust between ourselves, our business partners, and those we serve. The university-wide Compliance Program is key to this commitment.

The role of the Compliance function within Audit, Risk and Compliance (ARC) is to support the Compliance Program by working with the Executive Compliance Committee, and key compliance areas and liaisons throughout the university to raise awareness, provide guidance, facilitate collaboration, and address compliance concerns.

Compliance at Vanderbilt is an enterprise-wide commitment, requiring the contributions of the entire community to achieve our common goal of conducting our business with the highest level of integrity and in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and policies.
