Ashkan will introduce you to Sufism, one of the major mystical traditions in Islamic civilization. From its birth in the 9th century, the tradition itself has seen dramatic changes. Be prepared to be amazed with the varieties of religious lives and the impact of Islamic mysticism on the other aspects of social life.
All students, scholars, faculties, and community members are welcome! Lunch will be provided.
