World On Wednesdays presents: “The Journey of Healing”
Presented by: Thistle Farms
Thistle Farms’ presentation will highlight Magdalene, a residential community for women who have survived lives of prostitution, abuse, trafficking, and addiction. They will discuss Magdalene’s social enterprise, Thistle Farms, where the women produce, market, and sell all-natural bath and body care products. They will explain the ways in which advocacy works in small communities and makes an impact on the world.
When: Wednesday, Oct. 23rd, 12 p.m. – 1 p.m.
Where: Student Life Center, Lower Level Rooms 1 & 2
