Trivia Night at the Gallery for First-Year Students

Posted by on Monday, April 9, 2018 in Archives, News.

The Vanderbilt Fine Arts Gallery will be hosting a Trivia Night for first-year students at Cohen Hall on Tue., Apr 10. Joining the event with a team from your residence hall is highly encouraged. (As you know, there is nothing more enjoyable than some friendly Commons rivalry!) There will be prizes for the members of the winning team! You can register your team (of up to 5 people) here or through Anchor Link by Mon., Apr. 9.

Even if you are not a first-year student, feel free to drop by around 5:30 p.m. to enjoy great art, mingle with others, partake in our Scavenger Hunt, and have some snacks.

This event is in conjunction with our current exhibition, “America Creative: Portraits By Everett Raymond Kinstler.” Kinstler is America’s foremost portrait painter. In his career, he has rendered portraits of more than 2,000 individuals—leaders in almost every professional field, including eight United States presidents. America Creative explores how the eye of an artist sees kindred souls whose life’s work is also in the arts.
