Registrations can be completed at the Office of Campus Recreation from 9 am – 5 pm Mon. – Fri. Each house-s vice president will be responsible for assisting the Office of Campus Recreation in promoting and registering teams for both the Commons sporting events and intramural sports. Mark Your Calendars for the Wellness Bash
Oct. 30th, from 3 pm - 7 pm
First Floor of the Rec Center
The Wellness Bash is an annual fair-type event held in the Student Recreation Center (SRC). The WRC invites different wellness-related groups and companies to come and demonstrate their services. Some of the services previously involved with the Bash have been Angelic Touch Massage, Vanderbilt Sports Medicine, Vanderbilt Student Health, Margaret Cunningham Women-s Center. There are also lots of giveaways from local companies.
Stop by for an array of wellness based booths from Vanderbilt student organizations and Nashville-s community. Trick-Or-Treat your way through FREE food, giveaways, and massages while expanding your knowledge on all aspects of individual wellness!
Sports Medicine Athletic Trainer
Do you need advice in regards to a sports injury? We offer during the semester months on Tue and Thu our very own Athletic Trainer. The athletic trainer is friendly and one of Vanderbilt-s best in the field. So if you need advice, he/she will be in the Student Recreation Center lounge ready to answer any and all of your questions.

Approximately 80% of infectious diseases are transmitted by TOUCH
Simple soap and water might not kill all viruses, but thorough hand washing will decrease the viral count significantly and prevent many infections.
Using hot water does not increase the effectiveness.
Alcohol gels are also very effective, unless the hands are heavily soiled. Numerous products are available and may be more convenient in many situations
The CDC recommends washing your hands for at least 15 seconds.
