Scientific Immersion and Mentorship (SIM) will be hosting faculty panelists from different research disciplines to discuss what they expect from undergraduates in their lab, good lab practices, and advice for students hoping to get more involved in research. Students will have the opportunity to learn and ask questions about how to communicate with PIs, advocate for themselves, and overcome the various challenges faced by undergraduate researchers.
