Multicultural Lounge (SCSJI lounge in Sarratt Student Center)
SACEx is a cultural education and competency program that is modeled off of the framework set up by the National Center for Cultural Competence at Georgetown University. Through reflection, learning, and conversation, the program is designed to promote respect and understanding of the various cultures that make up South Asia. The introductory event will include Indian street food from Sindoore for all attendees + an opportunity to learn about the future of cultural competence at Vanderbilt through the lens of a South Asian student.
