Pop-Up Park @ Kensington Place
FutureVU is creating a pop-up park on Kensington Place from Wed., Nov. 6 – Sun., Nov. 12. The park will include landscaping and various types of seating, as well as open space for games and other activities. We will hold a variety of events including a yoga class, punt/pass/kick event, Vandy Fanatics tailgate and more! The Grilled Cheeserie will make an appearance for lunch one of the days and we will have free hot cocoa, cider and cookies on another. This event is the second of a series of pop-up events aimed at turning underutilized outdoor spaces into fun and functional spaces for the community to enjoy and highlighting upcoming transformations that will take place as part of FutureVU.
