Kick off your summer with a climbing trip to one of the West-€™s most renowned climbing areas, Bishop, California!   Just on the leeward side of the high sierra, the Bishop area is home to breath taking scenery and did we mention some the countries best climbing!?!?   Over the course of this week long trip we explore three different bouldering areas each boasting hundreds of problems to test your strength.   In addition to being centrally located to world class boulders, this trip will spend some time exploring the cliffs of the Owens River Gorge.   This gorge is one of the highest concentrations of quality sport climbing in the great state of California.   While the walls offer a wealth of easier climbs, there is a huge variety of 5.10 to 5.11 climbing to be had.   Prior climbing experience is required, and this trip is limited to 6 PARTICIPANTS, SO DON-€™T DELAY SIGNING UP.   More information can be found at www.vanderbilt.edu/outrec. Trip cost will cover local van transportation while out West, in-camp food, group equipment, and lodging/camping/permit fees.   NOTE: You must provide your own airfare to Las Vegas, NV.
