Native & Indigenous Graduates Recognition Ceremony

Date: Thursday, May 12th, 2022, 10:00am-11:30am
Student Life Center (SLC)
The Native/Indigenous Graduates Recognition Ceremony is a recognition ceremony held once a year by the Native/Indigenous community at Vanderbilt to celebrate the achievements and successes of all graduating Native/Indigenous students. The ceremony serves as a unique space for students to pay homage to family, friends, faculty, staff, and administrators who have supported their journeys. With food, music, graduation stoles, guest speakers, student awards, and photo opportunities, we invite all to join us in this fun and family-oriented celebration! Please note that this celebration is held in addition to formal graduation events and is not a substitute for the official commencement ceremony. Registration is a requirement for participation. The form must be completed by April 30th at 11:59pm: https://anchorlink.vanderbilt.edu/submitter/form/start/526593. Please email Brittany Pomilee, SCSJI Program Coordinator (brittany.n.pomilee@vanderbilt.edu), with any questions or visit https://www.vanderbilt.edu/scsji/native-indigenous-graduates-recognition-ceremony/ for more information.
