SIM invites you to attend the third event in our Scientific Immersion and Inclusion series: LGBTQIA+ Community in Academia and Research! You will have the opportunity to hear a diverse group of faculty speak to their experiences navigating research with and on the LGBTQIA+ community. Panelists are members of Vanderbilt’s LGBT Policy Lab and include Dr. Christopher Carpenter, E. Bronson Ingram Chair and Professor of Economics and Director of the LGBT Policy Lab, Dr. Kirsty Clark, Professor of Medicine, Health, and Society and Public Policy Studies, and Dr. Tara McKay, Assistant Professor of Medicine, Health, and Society. Food from D’Andrews Bakery will be provided. We look forward to seeing you there!
