Wednesday, Oct. 5: The Lambda Association-€™s 22nd Annual Drag Show @ 7:30 p.m. in the Student Life Center Ballroom

  • The Vanderbilt Lambda Association is  proud to present the  22nd Annual Drag Show! Everyone is welcome to join us for a night of gender-bending fun and learn more about why drag has been so integral to the LGBTQIA+ community since its introduction to the scene.  This year’s Drag Show will be on  October 5th. A panel discussion will begin the  SLC Ballroom at  5:30 p.m., followed by a Mocktail Hour at  6:30 p.m. The show will begin at  7:30 p.m.

Monday, Oct. 10: An Evening with Jennicet Gutierrez @ 6:00 p.m. in Student Life Center Ballroom

  • Join LGBTQI Life in celebrating and recognizing LGBTQI+ History Month during the month of October. LGBTQI Life and the Center for Latin American Studies  will be inviting Jennicet Gutiérrez to campus to speak and engage with us!  Jennicet Gutiérrez is an undocumented transgender activist based in Los Angeles. A founding member of FAMILIA: Trans Queer Liberation Movement, her activist work centers on detained undocumented trans women + their communities. Jennicet is dedicating her life to advocating for the rights + justice of the transgender community. A reception with light refreshments will follow Jennicet’s speaking engagement in the KC Potter Center.

Wednesday, Oct. 19: 20th Anniversary Tour of RENT @ 7:30 p.m. at TPAC

Friday, Oct. 21: LGBTQI+ Alumni Reunion Reception @ 3:00 p.m. at the K.C. Potter Center

Thursday, Oct. 27: Monsters and Mindfulness @ 3:00 p.m. in the Center for Student Wellbeing
