Can social media facilitate feminist agendas or are we furthering a problematic system under the guise of advocacy? Is the social internet a constructive platform to interface with those in the world around us about political and social justice issues? How does the constant flow of misinformation and constant ‘connectedness’ influence our personal lives and effect feminist messaging? This discussion will concentrate on the role of feminism on social media and its benefits and downfalls.
