Kitchen Table Series: Facing Homelessness as a Woman

How does homelessness affect women? How do homeless women navigate the male-dominated streets and shelters? This KTS will discuss the intersection of homelessness and gender and cover topics such as access to healthcare. Join us to talk about how homeless women deal with challenges in accessing proper maternal care and sanitary devices as well as deal with the increased threat of violence and sexual assault. Dinner is provided to participants. All sessions are capped at 30 attendees due to space.
