Saturday, March 20
11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Vanderbilt’s very own emerging technology conference will return, taking place virtually over Zoom. Emerge is a free, one-day conference hosted by Vanderbilt University’s Women in Computing student organization. It brings together students, educators, entrepreneurs, and the larger community to learn more about exciting emerging technologies, and provides a space to foster meaningful connections among those passionate about these topics. The 2021 iteration of Emerge will spotlight Smart Home Technology!
Throughout the day, attendees will interact with the brightest minds in the industry through keynotes and interactive design workshops that focus on the impact of smart home technology. Our speaker lineup includes professionals from Amazon, Google Nest, Ecobee, Very Possible and Peloton. Attendees will also be able to connect and network with these industry leaders during a dedicated networking session after the final keynote.

Emerge 2021 is open to everyone of all backgrounds, and is a FREE event! No skill set is needed; enthusiasts and beginners are welcome alike! There will be free swag (think Comfort Colors Pocket Tees, MiiR water bottles), prize giveaways (Amazon Echo, FireTV Stick, Google Nest, and more), GME/DYV credit and a resume drop to our corporate sponsors for our attendees as well!

Emerge 2021 is scheduled for Saturday, March 20, 2021 from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm. The Zoom invitation link will be sent to those who register.
Attendees MUST register through this link.
