Please join Dean Camilla Benbow for a conversation about race, symbolism, and diversity. The subject is of particular interest as communities and universities face calls to remove relics of the Confederacy.

John L. Jackson, Jr., Dean, School of Social Policy and Practice, University of Pennsylvania.

Jackson is author of  Impolite Conversations: On Race, Politics, Sex, Money, and Religion, a book about open and honest discussions about -€œthird rail-€ topics -€“ race, celebrity worship, gender identification, and free speech. Copies will be available for sale and signing by Dean Jackson.
