Commodore fans,

If you like music festivals then keep reading. See three VU Athletics productions on three different stages off West End. If you thought a *double dose* of your ‘Dores Feb. 16 raised levels of ‘Conquer and Prevail’ to the max- get ready for MORE THAN everything Black and Gold at VU Trio, Feb. 27.

Men’s tennis defeats Memphis and Lipscomb Feb. 15
The loss for No. 31 Memphis (3-3) snapped a two-match win streak, while Lipscomb dropped to 1-3 with the loss. In the team’s three previous matches, VU defeated Tulane and Northwestern, and lost to Harvard at a neutral site (Evanston, IL).

*Memorial Magic*
From the 9-4 football team on Coach Franklin’s birthday to a homecoming for current NBA-ers John Jenkins, Festus Ezeli and Jeff Taylor, Memorial Gymnasium has hosted some pretty cool Commodores in recent weeks.

But without a doubt, the coolest ‘Nashville Cats’ in Memorial this year were returning members of the 1949-1950 men’s basketball team, who finished 17-8 (11-3 SEC).
