Vanderbilt community members with children are invited to an interactive workshop with the Nashville Public Library: The Learning Power of Play!

Workshop description:  Adults have often lost touch with play-€™s inherent power and may not know how important  play is when preparing for kindergarten and beyond. We will discuss the connection between  play and children-€™s development  – reconnecting parents with their own ability to play, and  highlighting ways that adults can encourage and facilitate their child-€™s play.  This workshop is for parents and kids!

Workshop 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Free lunch provided at 12 p.m.
