Vanderbilt Awards for Leadership Excellence

Dear Student Leaders,

What better way to start off 2017 than reflecting on your personal and organizational accomplishments from 2016? Student Leadership Development and Student Organizations invite you to apply for one or more of the Vanderbilt Awards for Leadership Excellence (VALE). Known previously as The Magnolia Awards, VALE recognizes the work of individual students and organizations that positively shape the Vanderbilt community.

17 Individual Awards and 7 Student Organization awards will be given for leadership in areas like service, intercultural awareness, residential education, recreational sports, academic achievement, and more! Each award has its own criteria. For a full list of award criteria, visit our awards page.

Applications for all awards are LIVE and will close on Feb. 13. More information can be found here and applications are available here. Go ahead and save the date for the VALE Ceremony on Apr. 5 in the Student Life Center – more details to come.
