An Evening with Jennicet Gutierrez

Join LGBTQI Life in celebrating and recognizing LGBTQI+ History Month during the month of October. LGBTQI Life and the Center for Latin American Studies will be inviting Jennicet GutiÃ©rrez to campus to speak and engage with us! Jennicet GutiÃ©rrez is an undocumented transgender activist based in Los Angeles. A founding member of FAMILIA: Trans Queer Liberation Movement, her activist work centers on detained undocumented trans women + their communities. Jennicet is dedicating her life to advocating for the rights + justice of the transgender community. A reception with light refreshments will follow Jennicet’s speaking engagement in the KC Potter Center.
