Garrett League receives Award for Best talk in his session at Entomology 2014

At the 2014 meeting of the Entomological Society of America (ESA), held in Portland, Oregon, graduate student Garrett League received the award for best talk (1st place) in his session. Garrett’s talk was titled, “Comparative analysis of Anopheles gambiae larval and adult dorsal vessel structure and hemolymph circulation”.

According to the ESA website, “The Entomological Society of America (ESA) is the largest organization in the world serving the professional and scientific needs of entomologists and individuals in related disciplines. Founded in 1889, ESA has nearly 7,000 members affiliated with educational institutions, health agencies, private industry, and government. Members are researchers, teachers, extension service personnel, administrators, marketing representatives, research technicians, consultants, students, pest management professionals and hobbyists.”
