At the 2013 Vanderbilt University Department of Biological Sciences departmental annual retreat, graduate student Garrett League was awarded two awards.  First, Garrett received the Ann Bernard Martin Award, which is presented annually to a graduate student who has demonstrated exceptional promise in research and scholarly activities in the early stages of his/her graduate career in Biological Sciences.  Then, Garrett received the Gisela Mosig Best Presenter Award, which is presented annually to the best presenter at the Department of Biological Sciences Annual Retreat.
