July 27, 2020 – An update on the Campus Connection Program

Posted by on Monday, July 27, 2020 in Community Messages.

Dear undergraduate students,

We hope you are doing well and are looking forward to the beginning of the academic year.  We are writing to follow up on a message that was sent in April introducing the Campus Connection Program. This inaugural program is being launched to provide all undergraduate students with personalized support and guidance in navigating the various experiential learning and campus services that are part of your collegiate career at Vanderbilt.

In the next few weeks, you will be hearing from your Campus Connector who is excited to support you and to connect you to the myriad of resources on campus. Your Campus Connector will provide a bridge to help you connect to the most beneficial resources at the university to promote your overall success. As a reminder, Campus Connectors will not advise on topics such as academics, extracurriculars, fundraising, or student health and well-being. They will not replace your academic advisers, your financial aid officer, or a counselor. They will provide connections or referrals to those resources, among others.

Our commitment to your success and wellbeing is foundational to our mission and purpose, and we look forward to seeing how this new program will support you in your academic and personal goals this year.

Sincerely,

Vanessa B. Beasley
Vice Provost for Academic Affairs and Dean of Residential Faculty
