Mar. 11, 2020 – Message to undergraduate campus residents

Posted by on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 in Community Messages.

Dear Undergraduate Campus Resident,

As Chancellor Wente announced earlier today, we will move fully to online and alternative learning for the remainder of the semester. All undergraduate campus residents should make plans to move out no later than Sunday, March 15. Classes will resume using online and alternative learning March 16.

We are asking all campus residents to complete the required Spring Move-Out Information form, available under the Applications menu in the Student Housing Portal on the OHARE website, as soon as possible. Students who may need to remain on campus after beyond March 15 will receive further communication.

We recognize that this has been a very challenging situation for all of you, and that you and your families are likely to have many questions. We are in the process of updating the university’s coronavirus website with details and will share updates as soon as we have them.

Be assured that our campus remains safe and open. We are continuing our cleaning, sanitizing, social distancing and other best practices to keep our campus safe. We are committed to supporting your health and wellbeing, and we are grateful for your patience and cooperation.
