Students will also participate in a 5-week field camp prior to the start of the academic semester, then continue their research with an independent project while studying at the University. Along with the research class, students take with three other university courses of their choosing. Students live with 3 to 4 other students in student apartments. Auckland is situated between two harbors, offering great opportunities for waterskiing, sea kayaking, sailing and more. The city is home to one-third of New Zealand's population, and provides a vibrant and diverse setting for study abroad students.
