In this study center program, students enroll in 6 semester hours of coursework in Tokyo, a city that has mastered the balance of ancient tradition and ultra-modern convenience. The goals of this program are to help students of all Japanese language abilities further develop their Japanese skills and increase their knowledge about Japan and its people. Housing is provided in Japanese style dormitory in the heart of Tokyo, about a 30 minute commute from classes. Nikko and Yokohama are not too far away, allowing students to explore a variety of Japanese cities. Other popular spots are Zen gardens, the Meiji Shrine, the Kabuki Theatre, and the ballpark.
