This summer program in Berlin, also known as FUBiS, was specifically created by one of Germany’s top universities Freie Universität Berlin to offer students courses in language, culture, fashion, history, international relations, and more that focus on Germany and its role in Europe. The campus is located in the beautiful residential area of Dahlem surrounded by parks and lakes. During the program students choose to live in a single-occupancy apartment or with a local host family. A monthly transportation pass allows students to explore the city of Berlin and reach all the internationally renowned art galleries, museums, and music venues the city is known for.
On this program students elect to take their coursework in German, English, or a combination of the two languages. Students choose between Track C, Track A+B, or Track B+A. Track C is for students interested in intensive German language learning. Track A+B and Track B+A offer students the option between enrolling in semi-intensive German language courses and/or content courses taught in English or German.
