In this program, students directly enroll at Smolny College of St. Petersburg State University. Students choose courses from Smolny's course catalog and also participate in an intensive Russian as a Second Language curriculum.

Envisioned as a "Window to the West," the city is filled with golden palaces, pastel-colored mansions, and landscaped parks, gardens, and canals. Students either live with a Russian-speaking family and immerse themselves in the language and culture, or in a student hostel.

Eligible students will have taken four semesters of college-level Russian.
