Sexual assault and misconduct surveys
Vanderbilt University is committed to eliminating all forms of gender harassment, sexual harassment, sexual assault, intimate partner violence and other forms of sexual misconduct on our campus. We have had focused discussions with students, faculty, staff and post-doctoral fellows in which we have listened to and learned from all members of our campus community, and made clear how seriously we take these issues and all we are doing to address them. Additionally, we have conducted various surveys, the results of which will inform the university’s response to the serious problems of sexual misconduct and other forms of power-based personal violence that are impacting our campus and other campuses across the country.
- Climate surveys on sexual assault and misconduct show informed and engaged campus community, challenges remaining (university statement)
- Faculty and postdocs report few experiences with sexual harassment in survey, but concerns persist (university statement)
