Career Conversations Offers Networking Opportunities and Great Fun Too

Career Conversations: An Informative and Informal Parent/Student Networking Event

4–5:45 p.m. (Note: Registered participants check in at 3:45 p.m. outside Student Life Center ballroom C.)

Student Life Center, Ballroom C

Hosted by the Center for Student Professional Development and the Parents and Family Programs Office.

Hundreds of family members will convene for Family Weekend 2016; we aim to make the most of a great networking opportunity for students and parents.

Career Conversations presents the perfect setting for Vanderbilt students to connect with parents from across the country or around the world. Participating parents and students will gather in small groups to learn more about career paths, specific industries, and advice on how to get started in a job search. Parents will share their professional experience and career advice with students. The informal and casual setting will allow students to ask questions, get advice and gain insight into their own career path and professional development. Light refreshments will be served. Join us!
