These programs may include participation in student organizations, club sports, art, and cultural experiences, service trips, outdoor recreation trips, Greek Life or other initiatives with financial considerations.

STUDENT HARDSHIP FUND
COVID-19 has impacted all of us. It is necessitating a temporary change to how we deliver education and conduct research and scholarship, but it will not deter us from the pursuit of our mission. During challenging times like these, the Commodore spirit of collaboration and care prevail.
Many members of the Vanderbilt community have asked how to help. We are so appreciative of your concerns for our students in these extraordinary times. We have redirected $1 million in university funds to create the Student Hardship Fund to support the immediate needs of students experiencing hardships as a result of COVID-19. We hope you will join us in support of our students by making a gift of any size to this special fund.
The Student Hardship Fund will be put to work to support unexpected student expenses, like last-minute airline tickets, housing, meals, the technology needed for online learning, and other necessities.
A gift to the Student Hardship Fund will help give our students peace of mind in a time of uncertainty and demonstrate the true power and values of the Vanderbilt community. The fund will also remain in place to help students deal with future hardships unrelated to COVID-19.
