Giving to Vanderbilt

We encourage all parents to support our future leaders and scholars. An unrestricted gift of any size to your child’s undergraduate school plays a significant role in ensuring school deans have the resources available to provide the best education for your Vanderbilt student.

Parent participation is a key element in Vanderbilt’s success. Every gift to the Vanderbilt Parents and Grandparents Campaign helps support the wonderful Vanderbilt community to which we all belong.

For your convenience, Vanderbilt provides several ways for parents, grandparents, alumni, and friends to make gifts. If you would like to make your gift online, please visit  giving.vanderbilt.edu/ways-to-give/.

Thank you for your support. If you would like to learn more about parent giving, please visit giving.vanderbilt.edu/.

EXPERIENCE VANDERBILT

Experience Vanderbilt (EV) supports the University’s mission of creating an inclusive community by providing undergraduate students qualifying for need-based financial aid with resources to engage in extracurricular programs. The program’s goal is to break down monetary barriers between undergraduate students and extracurricular programs that help define the Vanderbilt experience.  These programs may include participation in student organizations, club sports, art, and cultural experiences, service trips, outdoor recreation trips, Greek Life or other initiatives with financial considerations.

The application for Experience Vanderbilt funding for the 2022-2023 academic year for upperclassman (rising sophomores through seniors) can be found on Anchorlink and will open in the spring. The application for freshmen and transfers will open in the fall.  Funding for Experience Vanderbilt comes in part from donations from parents, alumni, faculty, and staff. Please consider donating to allow us to help more students Experience Vanderbilt.

STUDENT HARDSHIP FUND

COVID-19 has impacted all of us, but it will not deter the Commodore spirit of collaboration and care.

Many members of the Vanderbilt community have asked how to help students needing assistance. The Student Hardship Fund was created to support the immediate needs of students experiencing hardships as a result of COVID-19. We hope you will join us in support of our students by making a gift of any size to this special fund.

The Student Hardship Fund is put to work to support unexpected student expenses, like last-minute airline tickets, housing, meals, the technology needed for online learning, and other necessities.

A gift to the Student Hardship Fund will help give our students peace of mind in times of uncertainty and demonstrate the true power and values of the Vanderbilt community. The fund will also remain in place to help students deal with future hardships unrelated to COVID-19.
