EOA offices are located in Suite 700 of the Loews Vanderbilt Office Building at 2100 West End Avenue.
Caitlin Bird, Reasonable Accommodation Manager: Caitlin manages reasonable accommodation requests covered under the Americans with Disabilities Act as amended, as well as religious accommodations for faculty, staff, and students. She also provides consultation on related topics. Caitlin received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University and will be awarded her master’s degree in December 2023 by Lindsey Wilson College. Prior to joining EOA, Caitlin worked as an Account Executive on the Integrated Absence Solutions Team with Lockton Dunning and was awarded her Leave Management Specialist Designation from the Disability Management Employer Coalition while working with Aon as a member of the Time Away and Life Solutions Team.
Kristi Penton, Office Manager: Kristi is typically the first point of contact for the office. She conducts initial interviews regarding potential violations of Vanderbilt’s EEO/AA and Anti-Harassment policies or other issues of unlawful discrimination and coordinates calendars of the Director and Associate Director. Prior to joining EOA, she worked for Metro Davidson County Schools.
