VSG Senate Meeting Tonight!

The Senate will be considering two resolutions tonight. Senate Sessions are open for the entire student body and attendance is encouraged. The Senate meets tonight in Alumni Hall Classroom 201 starting at 7:15 pm. On the docket for tonight’s meeting is:

  1. S: 21-22-02: Resolution Amending the Internal Rules of Procedures for the Fall of 2021

  • Resolution Amending the Internal Rules of Procedures for the Fall of 2021

  1. S: 21-22-03: Resolution Supporting LiUNA 386 and Vanderbilt Campus Dining and Facility Staff

  • Vanderbilt Student Government strongly supports Laborers’ International Union of North America Local 386 (LiUNA 386) demands for higher wages, non-wage benefits, and greater investment for training and career advancement for Vanderbilt employees.

VSG and VPB Donation Events!

Join VPB Homecoming this Thursday from 11-5 pm in the Kissam MPR room for Dore’s Doing Good Day! Sign up to donate blood with the Red Cross with this link http://vandy.link/vpb/blood or drop in to donate during this time. VPB is also partnering with VSG to host a donation drive for the permanent thrift shop opening soon. All donations are welcome and appreciated. We hope to see you there!

SACESpeaks October Event!

Join us for our SACESpeaks: Greek Life event on Wednesday, October 20, from 7-8 PM in Commons 335. This month’s SACESpeaks event will discuss Greek Life and the South Asian experience. Students panelists who are in/have previously been in Greek Life will talk about their experience and answer student questions regarding Greek Life. We highly encourage you to attend if you have any questions about Greek Life in general or specifically the experience of being in Greek Life as a South Asian/minority student. Free Mango Lassi for attendees!
