Student Affairs Comms E-Newsletter [Vanderbilt University]

April 22, 2021

Dear Vanderbilt Students,

I am writing you to remind you that the university is working to determine the number of faculty, staff and students who have received a COVID-19 vaccine so we can create a plan for a safe return to campus for the fall 2021 semester.

This information, in conjunction with CDC recommendations and public health guidance from VUMC and Metro Health, will be used when evaluating potential changes to campus health and safety protocols.

The vaccine tracker is password-protected and confidential so that your information is safe. I strongly encourage you to submit your vaccine record so that we can develop a broad understanding of the vaccination status of our community.

Click on the vaccine tracker/submission form.

I also strongly encourage you to get your free COVID-19 vaccination if you have not received it. Undergraduate, graduate and professional students are able to schedule vaccinations through Vanderbilt University Medical Center. If you are unable to go to VUMC before the end of the semester, I encourage you to find other options for the location you will be in this summer through vaccinefinder.org. Once you receive your vaccination, please immediately take a picture of your vaccination card in case you lose the original.

Thank you,

G.L. Black
Assistant Provost and Deputy Dean of Students
