Graduate School E-Newsletter [Vanderbilt University]

April 12, 2021

Dear Students,

Happy Spring!  I hope you are enjoying the generally warmer weather and colorful blooms.  I know you are working hard as we approach the end of the semester and wanted to remind you about open office hours.

As shared in my previous message, I hold open office hours for graduate students on a regular basis and look forward to the opportunity to meet individually with students.

For the remainder of this semester, these office hours will occur at the following times:

Thursday, April 15 (9:30 a.m. -11:30 a.m.)

Thursday, May 6 (2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.)

Please contact La Tisha Moore, Executive Assistant to the Dean, to schedule an appointment. If these times do not work for you, Ms. Moore can also help you find other times to meet with me.

For now, all meetings will be held by Zoom. Depending on students’ specific needs, Associate Dean Bunmi Olatunji (academic affairs) and Assistant Dean Don Brunson (diversity initiatives) may also be available for appointments.

Sincerely,

C. André Christie-Mizell
Vice Provost for Graduate Education
Dean of the Graduate School
Director, Office of Postdoctoral Affairs
Centennial Professor of Sociology
